Project Description

Perini Management Services led the design and construction of two Afghan National Army Brigade facilities in remote areas of Afghanistan. The projects were performed concurrently and were nearly identical in scope with each consisting of more than 90 buildings on 300-acre sites. The facilities included administrative buildings, barracks, dining halls, and warehouses; water treatment, storage, and distribution systems; sewage collection and treatment systems; prime power plants and site distribution systems; communication systems; helipads; roads; perimeter walls; and guard towers.

β€œThe resulting facilities received commendation from the Afghanistan Engineer District Commander, as arguably having the highest quality of any construction in the country.”
