Project Description
New construction and rehabilitation of over 1,000 residential properties in the city of Philadelphia.
Tasker Homes Phase IÂ includes a 72-unit senior care housing building with activities center, laundry facilities and other related amenities; 173 twin and row homes; a maintenance and training facility; and Philadelphia Housing Authority management offices. The scope included new streets, sewers, storm drains and telephone, electrical and cable television utilities and significant environmental remediation and demolition activities. Completion December 2004.
Tasker Homes Phases II & III includes 125 homeownership units and 184 rental units (including 28 handicapped-accessible rental units); new streets, sewers, storm drains and telephone, electrical and cable television utilities; and significant environmental remediation and demolition of existing housing units and community center. Completion January 2006.
Mill Creek Development included the design and construction of 80 rental units and 40 homeownership units and demolition and asbestos abatement. Completion April 2005.
Wilson Park Apartments Phase IIIÂ included the reconstruction of 153 residential units covering several city blocks. Completion February 2004.
Suffolk Manor Rehabilitation included the renovation of 137 residential units and reconstruction of adjacent streets and alleys, as well as associated utilities. Completion December 2003.
Hill Creek & Whitehall Apartments Phase IIIÂ included the reconstruction of 66 apartment units in multiple buildings. Completion February 2004.
Whitehall Apartments Phase IVÂ included the reconstruction of 65 apartment units in multiple buildings. Completion June 2004.
Whitehall Apartments Phase VÂ was the comprehensive modernization of 62 rental housing units. Completion November 2004.
Germantown House Renovations included the renovation of an eight-story, 219-unit apartment building into 133-units. Completion 2006.
Wilson Park Community Center/Senior Towers included HVAC modifications to four towers; playground/street lighting; addition to towers; and community center addition/renovations. Completion 2006.
